Safeguarding in education

It’s important to check that your tutor is registered with the Disclosure & Barring service but once that’s been done, is that the end of safeguarding?

The short answer is no. Your tutor should be up to date with relevant safeguarding training. This enables the tutor to identify areas of concern and contact the right professional where needed.
